Article 2 Students should comply with the university dormitory regulations and work and rest regime.
Article 3 Students should live in the designated room. Changing rooms at random or occupying other rooms is not allowed. Before check-in, students should double check the items in the room and sign the Accommodation Agreement.
Article 4 Two students are required to share one room. If there is vacancy, the university will arrange another roommate within one week. If he/she refuses the arrangement, he/she will be fined. Those who want single occupancy should apply in a written request beforehand. If there are rooms available, only with the permission and paying off additional fees, can students move in.
Article 5 Male and female students are forbidden to live together in one room.
Article 6 Students should not host others in their dormitories. If family members come to visit and want to stay over, the students should first get permission from the administrative office, and then they are allowed to check in. Otherwise, the residence will be regarded as illegal and the students will be punished.
Article 7 Students should be alert for burglaries and fires. Those who go out with large articles should register in the duty office.
Article 8 Those who are cancelled the status as students or unregistered students at the stipulated time should leave university at the required time. Otherwise, the university will force them to move out and deal with the articles left in the rooms together with the police.
Article 9 Students should keep both the rooms and the surroundings clean. Those who pour water or throw rubbish from windows will get penalties such as warning or more severe punishments even to extend to be expelled from school. Students should not throw leftovers into basins or toilets and stack articles in corridors.

Article 11 Students should keep quiet in dormitories. They should not disturb others, such as dancing, making loud noises or playing music loudly.
Article 12 All the facilities and items in the dormitories are for the residents’ use only and should not be contaminated, damaged, dismantled, broken or removed from the dormitories; otherwise, students have to pay for them. If there is something needing to be repaired, students should fill in the reparation form and inform the staff.
Article 13 Students should not conduct activities that are against the national law or regulations of the university. The dormitories are not allowed to be sublet or transferred.
Article 14 Students who have bicycles should park them in the assigned places.
Article 15 Students should not scribble or put posters on walls. Posters and pamphlets are not allowed to be distributed, posted or exhibited on campus. Movies or videos are not allowed to be played in public sites without permission.
Article 16 Students should not change locks of the doors and duplicate keys by themselves. They should lock the doors and close the windows when going out. They should keep the certificates, properties carefully and deposit cash in banks. If any burglary occurs, they should preserve the site and immediately inform the staff on duty.

Article 18 Indecent behaviors in the dormitory building, such as shouting, fighting, creating disturbance after drinking, gambling, taking drugs and trafficking, are strictly prohibited.
Article 19 Students should observe the regulations on dormitory administration. The administrators and students have the right to criticize and report those who have broken the regulation. Those who refuse the administration and make trouble on purpose will get penalties such as notice of criticism or warning in accordance of the severity of the case.
Article 20 Students who want to borrow the keys to their own rooms should register in the duty office with the deposit and return them timely. If the keys are lost, they should compensate. Those who need to change locks will have to pay.
Article 21 Only with the permission from the SOE Office can the students put up posters or notices in the assigned place.
Article 22 Burning anything in the buildings is forbidden. Smoking is not allowed in the dormitory and any other public place.
Article 23 When fire, leakage of electricity or water happens in the dormitory or other public places, students should immediately report to SOE Office, staff men on duty or the public security office.
Article 24 Fire extinguishers are not allowed to be moved or damaged.
Article 25 Any inflammable and explosive materials are forbidden in the dormitory. Fireworks or fire crackers are prohibited to be set off in the corridors or out of windows.
Article 26 Large amount of cash and valuables should not be kept in the dormitories. Students should lock the doors and windows when going out.
Article 27 Students who go out for a long time for fieldwork or travel should switch off the power.
Article 28 Students who cause fire accident should bear the responsibility to compensate for all the losses and, in grave cases, will be prosecuted by the juridical department.
